Thanks but no thanks: Randeep Hooda and Sushmita Sen

Randeep Hooda's Rubaru is up for release in September. The actor decided to have a special preview for close friends for this Percept Picture Company production.  Sushmita Sen was on his list.

It is learnt that Randeep sent an SMS to his ex-girlfriend inviting her to attend the trial, but the actress politely refused.

Plan cancelled

This is Randeep's first big release this year and he wanted feedback from close friends.  Says a source, "Obviously, Sush was on the list. Randeep and she are not in touch regularly but there's no bad blood between them. And he respects her feedback and that's why he asked her to see the film." But she declined.

Hooda was later told by common friends that Sushmita declined his invitation and he in turn, decided not to hold the screening at all.

However, Randeep claims these are just rumours, "I haven't had any trial for the film, nor was I planning to." He claims he hasn't seen the film, nor has he invited Sushmita for the trial, "I have no plans to invite her. If I do invite someone, then it would be my dad who plans to come down to Mumbai soon."

Hooda adds that since the film is ready for release he sees no sense in holding a trial. "I would keep a trial if I could incorporate my friends opinions and suggestions. But since Rubaru is all locked and ready, I would rather have them see it in a theatre."
