My generous joe: Kanav Puri and |
Kanav came before Sanju's birthday (July 29) and spent more than a week with his girlfriend.
Puri has been showering the actress with gifts and she is loving it, "He came like Santa Claus. He got me Dom Pérignon (champagne) and a beautiful yellow designer dress from a high-end Italian boutique in London for Sanju's birthday bash. He also gifted Sanju several bottles of expensive red wine on his birthday."
Beautiful in yellow
She giggles, "After the Lazy lamhe song in Thoda Magic Thoda Pyar, Kanav feels I look really beautiful in yellow." But one gift Amisha received from Kanav that she holds most dear to her is a silver coin from Vaishno Devi. Amisha says, "He had visited the temple before he came to Cape Town and brought me a silver Mata coin from there to keep in my bag. The coin is supposed to protect me from bad times. That was really sweet."
Amisha managed to spend quality time with Kanav, "I got a two-day break from shooting and we went around the countryside. We drove down to the Cape of Good Hope, the Table Top Mountains and the Stellenbosch vineyards where we crushed grapes with our feet, went on cellars tours, the vineyard hiking trail and tasted wine. We also visited the cheetah and lion parks and saw eagles and owls apart from other wild animals."
Amisha has two songs left to shoot for the film. She says, "We are now shooting in a beautiful all-glass house atop a mountain which is an hour away from Cape Town. It overlooks Cape Town city and has an infinity pool.
The view is stunning! It's been great fun shooting for Chatur Singh. It's a comedy where I play a young, glamorous girl. I am staying at the Table Bay Hotel which leads to the V & A shopping mall and I have a superb view of the waterfront from my seventh floor window. I recently met the entire team of Manchester United who were staying at the hotel and had come to play against South Africa."
