No patch-up in sight: Aamir and (right) Faisal Khan

Faisal Khan will not appear on Endemol's reality show Bigg Boss 2. Khan Jr alleges that the production house has thrown him out of the show under pressure from big brother Aamir Khan. The channel Colors, on which the show will air is a joint venture between Viacom and Network 18 (where Vandana Malik, the mother of Avantika (Imran Khan's girlfriend) is a bigwig) Faisal feels that his older bro had him dropped from the show, "He didn't want the truth to come out, so he worked with the producers to throw me out." Meanwhile, the channel refused to confirm that they had signed Faisal on for the show.

Here, Faisal talks about his ouster even before the show goes on air. Read on… 

When did you learn you'd been dropped from the show?
I had signed the contract, and was all set to appear on Bigg Boss. But recently, I got a communication from the producers end saying they didn't want me to appear on the show. They informed me I was no longer a part of Bigg Boss. I was shocked.

Did they give you a reason?
They said I was mentally unstable and they wanted me out on those grounds. This happened after a section of the media carried reports about me being mental.

Do you agree with them?
Of course not! I have taken them to the sessions court and will take the matter to higher courts if I am not happy with the verdict. I am being thrown out for other reasons than what they state. I know exactly who is behind all this!

Are you referring to Aamir?
Yes. In fact, a news channel that had tied up as media partner with Jaane Tu... carried reports of me being mentally unstable. It's a pattern. Aamir is hand in glove with the production house in getting me out of the show. He doesn't want people to know the truth and people to see who the real Faisal Khan is. Imran's girl friend Avantika's related to people in television production and they have played their own game. But no one messes with Faisal, and there's a limit to everything. He is messing with my professional life. I can't let him do that.

Will you ever patch up with Aamir?
No. Never. I want the public to know who I am and not believe the reports they read in the media. I wanted to do Bigg Boss because it would allow the public to see the real me. It would show everyone what Faisal Khan is made of. I don't see myself patching up with Aamir in the near future.

What are your future plans, now that Bigg Boss isn't happening?
I had a couple of offers to direct films, but I rejected all of them for the show. Now I will consider those proposals and start directing. I don't believe in giving up. If some one tries to put me down, I wont sit quiet and suffer. I will hit back at anyone who messes with my personal and professional life. There is God above who will do justice and I have tremendous faith in him.
