Mumbai: Double fun?
 
Ketan Mehta's Rang Rasiya starring Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen has been dubbed twice. Sen says, "The film has been dubbed both in Hindi and in English. It was really fun to speak the dialogues first in Hindi and then in English. It was a learning experience too." How's that? Which language did you not know earlier, Nandana?

In what could have been a catwalk coup of sorts, Karisma Kapoor and Elizabeth Hurley were supposed to walk the ramp at the Shangri-La Hotel in New Delhi for the Samsonite Signature Luxury show on December 10. But in the aftermath of the terror strike in Mumbai, the phirang bosses decided to cancel the show. Lolo and Liz will now have to wait for their turn on the ramp.

In hiding even now

The hush-hush around newbie Anushka Sharma continues even though her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite SRK releases today. The Yash Raj folk are zealously guarding the model-turned-actress from the media scanner even now. They want the audience to see her in the movie before hearing or reading about her. Aditya Chopra will decide at a later stage when to bring Anushka to the forefront. Well, at least she'll be seen around later, wish we could say the same about Adi Chopra!

SOUTH SPLASH

South director Bharati Raja who has introduced actresses Sridevi, Vijayashanti, Revathy, and Riya Sen is now releasing his film Bommalattam, with Nana Patekar. The film, which was in the cans for a long time, is now set to hit screens. The film has been made in Tamil and Telugu and has also been dubbed in Hindi as well. The film is said to be based on a real unsolved triple murder case, and has Nana in a double role. Nana nana na re, eh?

Remember Bhumika Chawla? The girl who acted with Abhishek Bachchan in Run and Salman Khan in Naam? She disappeared into oblivion after marrying Yoga guru Bharat Thakur. But she is now trying to revive her career in South films. She has signed up for a Telugu film again, titled Naa Style Veru. Time to put her flexibility into action.

Yeh toh bada 'toing hai' model Sanaa Khan who was last spotted in the controversial Amul Macho underwear ad films with orangutans makes her acting debut in Tamil movies. The wannabe star says, "Being extra-choosy, I was not too excited with the offers I was getting. Eventually, I got this big-budget Tamil movie (Silambattam) where I play the female lead." Lucky girl, at least you won't be dancing around monkeys anymore!

Santino assists Karan
 
We are told that actor Dino Morea's brother Santino harbours dreams of being a director some day. Buzz is that Santino will be assisting Karan Johar in the making of My Name is Khan. Given that Dharma is one of the most reputed production houses in the industry, Santino has definitely got a big break! Damn Dino, that must hurt.

Farhan tattoos Aamir
 
Farhan Akhtar makes his debut today as TV host on NDTV Imagine's Oye! It's Friday!  Hrithik Roshan is the first guest on the show. Apart from teaching him to dance, Hrithik also accepted a guitar from Farhan. We are told that Roshan is planning to learn the instrument and play it on his show later. During the end of the show Farhan reveals who would be the next guest on the show. The Rock On!! actor, shows off his forearm with the name Aamir tattooed on it! Wonder what Dil Chahta Hai comrade, Saif, thinks of this crack?

Our sources in the Rakeysh Mehra camp have confirmed that the producer-director has finally zeroed down on the logo pictured above ('In 9 Minds'; HiTLIST, Dec 11) for his next movie Delhi 6. A source reveals, "The logo have been selected and the posters are already given the final touches and it will be dispatched to theatres nationwide soon."
