Naturally yours: Akshay Kumar in the Levis ad

My foot!

While getting out of her car into an 'under construction' area, Shilpa Shetty fell and injured her foot. The actress, who is in considerable pain, says, "I didn't know how terrible it was till I saw the blood. I had to get 15 stitches." A song sequence for The Man had to be cancelled, and there might be more problems in store. Later this week, she's supposed to leave for an international magazine's photo-shoot in London. "But how can I manage it with a deep wound and limp?" she wails. Shilpa is hoping that make-up will hide the wound. As for the limp, "Let's just say it makes me look sexier." Sure Shilpa, just like Dr House!

Hooda plays hard to get
After being linked with Nandana Sen while working in Rang Rasiya, Randeep Hooda, seems to have learnt his lesson. At a recent promotional event for the cast and crew of the film Randeep studiously ignored Nandana while chatting up every other girl in the film from his co-stars to his director's wife Deepa Sahi Mehta.

Bipasha and Neil a spinning trip
Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh were at the Spinnathon Championship held at the Peninsula Corporate Park, Lower Parel, on Monday night. Bips arrived on time and grooved to her songs and mingled with the spinning participants. She also launched the new spinning range from Baqar Nasser's Topspin India and quaffed down Qua, the mineral water brand sponsoring the event. Neil who came in later was appointed brand ambassador and was gifted a custom-made spinning cycle.  His staff accompanied the actor all wearing T-shirts with his initials NNM on them! We even spotted him at Privé where girls were going ga ga over him, erm… it'd surely help if he got rid of all that fuzz.

Kahani six-pack ki
When quizzed Akshay on why he hasn't joined the six-pack bandwagon the actor says, "I have done the Levis ad in which I had shown my 'six-pack abs'. I've never touched anything wrong or made my body go through any unnatural process to get the body I have. I am not going to take any names but there are various stars in the industry who do indulge in it. But the point of the matter is that at the end of the day you are putting chemicals in your body and that can't be right. If the people who take these chemicals don't work out for two months it shows on their body." Hmm, any guesses about whom he's talking about?

In the pink
Sonam Kapoor made a fashion statement in a black Vivienne Westwood dress and pink Marc Jacobs ballerina shoes at the first look of Delhi-6 that was unveiled at the Dubai Film Festival as reported ('B-Town in Dubai'; HiTLIST, December 15). The film's trailer included scenes of Delhi that included Jama Masjid, cycle with shots of the Statue of Liberty, Sonam gyrating with a pigeon on her head and Abhishek in a myriad of emotions.

Is Rab... based on Adi's life?
People are talking that Aditya Chopra's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is autobiographical. SRK's look in the film as the common man Surinder Sahni is like what the Yash Chopra scion looks bespectacled and with a mouche. While newbie Anushka Sharma's character is called Taani. Now doesn't that rhyme with a certain Rani in Adi's life? Whaddya think?

What's next, Aamir?
When his film is up for release, Aamir Khan leaves no stone unturned for its promotion including chopping the hair of theatre attendants. Now for the first time the actor will be walking the ramp at a fashion show at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon all for the promotion of the 'Ghajini Line' by Van Heusen and to promote the film, of course.

PS: The promotional press kit includes a glossy booklet detailing Aamir's workout schedule and diets right from Monday to Sunday for his eight-pack abs which he's sending out to all media. A suggestion, Aamir: we think your fans would be happier to get the book rather than us.
