Kareena Kapoor stands third in the list of actors who rake in big bucks for endorsements. Following her foot- steps, now it is her sibling  Karisma Kapoor who has become the brand ambassador for Utssav CZ Gold Jewels owned by Khemchand Bhagnani, the brother of producer Vashu Bhagnani.

Old association

An insider reveals, “Karisma has been associated with the Bhagnanis since she started her career with Coolie No 1, Biwi No 1 and Hero No 1, which were all produced by Bhagnani’s home banner Puja Productions. All their films together were big box office hits and they consider Karisma their lucky charm. So it was only natural that they approached her to endorse their jewellery”

Opening soon

A source close to Bhagnani reveals, “A new outlet will be opening in Bandra on March 8 and they have almost 500 outlets all over the world. The collection comprises mainly of cubic zirconias, which is a replacement for diamonds and the collection is priced at Rs 3000 upwards.”

Lolo said yes

It is believed that initially the Bhagnanis planned on getting Kareena Kapoor to endorse their line, but she was tied up with her other commitments and endorsements and they couldn’t get her to agree. Next on their wishlist was Karisma, who agreed immediately.”

Khemchand Bhagnani doesn’t deny signing Karisma but refuses to comment.
