All Mine: Deepshikha

Don’t mention Deepshikha to the production team of Bhram. The unit is one angry lot after the actress took home all the costumes and jewellery upon finishing her role for the movie. She has even refused to take calls from the production people since.

Keeping it

A unit member says, “Deepshikha is playing a socialite in the film and requires a lot of heavy sarees and jewels. She was required to return the dresses and the props back after her stint in the film ended. But the actress never got around to doing so.

She took home all the stuff from the production after the shoot ended and has not returned anything. The last time we did get through to her she simply said, ‘I like the stuff I am wearing in the movie so I am going to keep it.’ That has really shocked us as thus far, no star has done something like this.”

Director Pavan Kaul offers, “I am really not aware of this. The best people to talk about it will be the production house. I wouldn’t have a clue if any such thing happened.”

In denial

Says Deepshikha, “Why would I take clothes from them when I can afford my own stuff? I’m a professional and have never done anything like this and will never stoop to such a level.”
