Vashu Bhagnani’s son Jackie’s debut has been in limbo for a while now. The doting dad apparently, wants nothing but the best for his son and so keeps changing directors every week. The producer has now signed Bhootnath director Vivek Sharma for Jackie’s debut film.
A source adds, “Jackie’s debut has been stalled as his father wants everything to be perfect. He wants his first film to make a mark.
Vashu first signed Ken Ghosh to direct the film but things didn’t materialise and Vashu moved to the south in search of a director. He then signed Gautam Menon to make his film.”
As reported ‘Chup-chap’ (Hitlist, December 7) the producer had already started shooting for the film with the Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein director.
“They shot for 20 days but Vashu was not happy with the result. He plans to scrap all the earlier shots. Vashu has now signed debutant Vivek Sharma to make this film for him,” adds the source.
Vashu and his son Jackie have just returned from Dubai, where Jackie did some photo-shoots as well as camera-tests.
