Understanding: Subhash Ghai

These days, the hassles don't seem to end for producer Subhash Ghai. After Salman Khan's date problems, now another Khan is giving Ghai grief.

Ghai's worrying

Says a source, "Poor Ghai is almost at the end of his tether. His next, Yuvraj, is almost complete barring a few scenes and songs. Subhashji has lost a lot of weight just trying to complete the film.

They had to shoot a song sequence with Zayed Khan and the new girl opposite him, Amie Maghera (Pond's model), on an expensive set at Filmistan Studios.

However Zayed is stuck in the Bahamas, shooting for Blue and his producers Shree Ahstavinayak won't release him till he finishes his work there."

The last couple of days Subhashji has been shooting with Zayed's duplicate using back and far away shots. He's waiting for Zayed to return today.

The source adds that Subhash has been very accommodating as he understands the problems of a producer and has allowed Zayed to rejoin him later.

"But one wonders whether Zayed will come back at all today or not because he has been telling people that Ashtavinayak will allow him to come back to Mumbai only after July 10."

It happens

Ghai admits about Zayed's unavailability for a song sequence, he says, "There are 70 Shiamak Davar dancers and other artistes including Amie in the song.

Zayed is stuck in the Bahamas because of the delay in (Blue) shoot and called me yesterday to say sorry.

He will join us today. These things do happen on outdoor and we producers have to bear with it for each other."
