My Way: Shahid Kapur and Ken Ghosh

Shahid Kapoor seems to be going the Aamir Khan way. He has started telling his director Ken Ghosh how to direct Star which has them working together.

Says a source, “Shahid provides a lot of instructions from everything to light placements and camera angles.”

Even though it may appear as Shahid’s creative inputs as Ken and Shahid are buddies, the source adds, “Shahid is very fussy when it comes to his looks and costumes.

It was Shahid who forced Jiah to cut her hair for the movie. She was very reluctant but he had his way.”

Shahid ki marzi?

In Star, Shahid plays a dancing sensation from a middle-class family who makes it big. “It was his wish to do a musical, which motivated Ken to go in for the project,” adds the source.

Ken, who directed Shahid in Ishq Vishk and Fida says, “Shahid and I work as a team.”
