see the resemblance? Randeep Hooda and Christian Bale | The actor was introduced as Christian Bale at the London film festival of his film Rang Rasiya
Randeep Hooda recently returned from the London premiere of his film Rang Rasiya. Titled Colors of Passion in the European version, the film closed the London film festival.
You Bale?
The film premiered along with Danny Boyle's Slumdog Million-aire, which was also screened at the festival. Randeep informs, "The European version is shorter in length than the Indian."
The actor is thrilled that people turned up in large numbers for his film despite Slumdog Millionaire being screened at the same time. At the screening, a member of the audience mistook him as a Hollywood actor.
Randeep recalls, "Someone got up and started shouting 'Is that Christian Bale?' I had to walk up to him and introduce myself."
Ga-ga about GALLE
Apart from attending the London premiere, Randeep also travelled to Sri Lanka, where his film was screened at the GALLE film festival. "I have never been there and it's a beautiful place. Even though it's a war-ravaged country, the people and their warmth is astounding."
Theatre, please!
Although Hooda didn't get a chance to watch Danny Boyle's film, he chatted briefly with the director, "I did get to meet him and have an interaction. I will definitely watch Slumdog Millionaire when I get the chance." On the acting front, Randeep says he wants to return to theatre. "I have this itch to go back and do some theatre. I guess I will take something up if it comes my way."
