All because of him...

India:

Because Salman Khan has a problem with Eros Inter-national, the actor has refused to do any promotions for his upcoming film, Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraj. B-Town is now abuzz about Ghai selling his film's world rights to Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision in stead of Eros.

How it began

A source reveals, "Sallu's trouble with Eros began after Partner (2007). He produced the film along with the production house. But he felt that they didn't give him any money after the movie went on to be a top-grosser.
Sallu was later presented with a fat cheque as a token of peace by Eros. Everything seemed fine until now."

The source continues, "Post his ugly spat with SRK, Sallu has been holding grudges against anyone close to King Khan. It could be because Shah Rukh Khan is close to Eros that Salman wouldn't want it involved with Yuvvraj."

It is learnt that Eros, who  pumped in the money for Yuvvraj got a major shock after learning about Sallu's comments. Their name was flashed in the film's promos, which began airing two weeks back. Now their name has gone missing from the credits.

Adds the source, "Ghai and Eros decided to part ways and have sold the world rights of the movie to Ashtavinayak for about Rs 40 crore."

"But the problem is that Ashtavinayak sells all the movies they produce to outsiders. All their recent movies) from Jab We Met to their next release Golmaal Returns have been sold to Studio 18. Trade buzz is that they won't be able to properly exploit the movie like Eros would have," the source concluded.

An Eros spokesperson counters, "Eros Intl still has the worldwide rights of Yuvvraj, including India. There have been several exciting offers for some territories in India, including  some from Ashtavinayak as the film looks promising. But nothing is finalised as yet."

But the media consultant for Ashtavinayak maintains, "We are definitely in talks with Subhash Ghai and Eros for taking over the world rights of the film but we haven't signed anything yet. In a day or two, we will get a clearer picture."
