Mumbai:

The cast and crew of Luck starring Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Shruti Hassan and Ravi Kissen didn't feel so lucky shooting in South Africa. The shoot of the film directed by Soham Shah was hampered due to a local strike of railway officials in Namibia.

It is believed that the halt of the shooting cost producers Ashtavinayak losses worth Rs 2 crore due to the three-day strike.

Out of gear

The crew was supposed to shoot a climax scene on a train with Imran and Shruti. A source reveals, "The local railways run by a group called Transnet called for a country-wide strike disrupting the services and hampering traffic all over South Africa. The crew was to wrap the climax scene in that schedule but the strike has thrown the shoot out of gear."

A spokesperson for the production house confirms the development and says, "Yes, the shoot was hampered due to the railway strike. They resumed the shoot yesterday." The movie has a huge budget of over Rs 75 crore and the producers have continued the shoot in South Africa despite suffering financial losses.
