Question time

The actress's association with Bombay Dost doesn't merely end with the launch.

She plans to take it further on her her Facebook group as well as  website mycelinajaitly.com and also.

"I have several gay readers who log on to my website and post their relationship questions.

I plan to take them to Bombay Dost that has a section for such queries.

Also my Facebook group for gay rights will have a link to the magazine."

Bombay Dost

Bombay Dost (1990) is India's first registered gay magazine.

It connected gays across the country, taking away their sense of isolation and disempowerment, giving them hope of a life, without stigma and discrimination.

Beset by lack of advertising and  funds, the mag stopped publication in 2002. Today, it is back in a new, bolder avatar.
