Partying hard
On Monday night, after chacha Feroz Khan's prayer meeting Zayed Khan hosted a dinner at his home.
The reason cited was that the family had been grieving and he just wanted everyone to be in a nicer place.
Nothing wrong with that. The actor made light of it, "Zayed however maintains, "It was more like a family dinner."
But a bitchy Juhu actress says, "Amongst others, the guests also there was Adi and Parmeshwar Godrej. Since when did the Godrejs become family?" Good question. Who wants to give an answer?
Falguni rocks the gym
It's not the season for dandiyas but sticks clicked anyway at the Hindu Gymkhana on Marine Drive, Tuesday night, as Falguni Pathak rocked a capacity crowd celebrating the Gymkhana's Founders Day.
The gymkhana completed 115 years on May 5, and the reticent artiste who goes off the radar post-Dandiya season, regaled the predominantly Gujarati audience first with some Hindi film songs and finally succumbed to repeated requests for Gujarati songs.
Requests for 'Pari Hoon Main' Falguni's well-known d andiya number rent the air towards the end of the evening, as the band upped its tempo building up to a crescendo.
All in all, a little bit of film a little bit of fun and a little bit of Falguni. Finally, one spotted Falguni having dinner post-performance at a restaurant in Babulnath, serving Gujarati cuisine.
Say cheers as you raise that glass of masala chaas!
With his parents
Kareena Kapoor and beau Saif Ali Khan are taking a small detour before embarking on their Italian holiday.
The actress says, "Saif's parents (The Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore) are in London and Saif and I want to spend a couple of days with them.
They are so warm and gracious, I love being with them. After London, we will go to Milan and then head towards Lake Como."

It's official. SRK's team, the Kolkata Knight Riders is finally out of the race. They haven't made it even to the semi-finals.
For a man used to success, it must be tough dealing with this ouster, which keeps them out of even the semi-finals.
All we can say is: The harder you fall, the higher you bounce. And if we know King Khan, he has put this failure behind him and is already planning for IPL 3.
Uday: Adi is an average Joe
Uday Chopra finally unravels the mystery called Aditya Chopra. About his elder bro's excessive need for privacy, the little brother says, "He doesn't keep to himself out of any insecurity.
A lot of people stay away because they have other issues in their head. But I think Adi's happy with the way he is keeping to himself.
He wants to watch his movie on a Friday, eat popcorn and be a regular Joe. He thinks if his face appears in the media and becomes familiar, he won't be able to do that.
Even today when someone recognises him he doesn't like it. He wants to just enjoy his life that way."
Ab John ki baari
After Ash and Sonam, it's time for another actor to endorse a beauty brand. John Abraham has been signed on to be the face of an international cosmetic brand.
The gala event will happen today and John will be the face of the brand. Apart from fairness cream, the actor will endorse the entire range of beauty products for men.
A source reveals, "It took a lot of convincing for John to endorse Garnier. But once he was convinced, he was excited to be the face of the range."
John will also be shooting for various print and TV commercials in the coming days for the brand. The actor has been busy shooting for David Dhawan's Hook Ya Crook in Karjat.
Networking momma
We really like Tara Sharma (she's angelic) but she has taken networking to a whole new level. The actress recently mailed us pictures of herself with a small note, "Just two more months to go before our little one arrives!
Just hope it all goes well, get a little nervous at the idea of the actual delivery, heehe! I am feeling great and haven't put on any weight except for my baby bump.
