Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon make an appearance together at the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City.The 39-year-old singer's new film, Precious, took in $1.8 million in box office sales despite running in just 18 theaters throughout the United States. Precious is based on a novel by Sapphire called Push. The film itself takes place in Harlem, and shows the life of a disadvantaged teen that has struggled through life up to that point.Mariah recently announced she will be performing live at New York's famous Madison Square Garden for a special New Year's Eve performance
