Bipasha Basu is back to her renovated home in Khar and now also wants her parents to move close to her. As the star's younger sister Vijayata has left for Bristol, England, for higher studies, she is keen that her parents don't feel lonely.
Says the actress, "My sister now watches over me on Skype. She says even when I'm not at home she's guarding my home. Now with my sister abroad, I want my parents closer."

Kitne door, kitne paas Bipasha has been so involved with getting her home in place that she has been unable to devote enough time to her parents. "This house is taking up all my time. It's my baby. I had deliberately got them a place that's a little away.
But now, I want my parents to move closer to my home. So we can be one big family without getting in each other's way. Though I want my mom to be close by I don't want her near me 24x7. Then I become a little girl. First question she asks when she sees me is, 'Have you had your bath?"
The techno-fittings are still being done at her home. "I want all the gadgets to be on one remote-control. In order to simplify my life I'm going through these complications. It's the most irritating job as I can't leave it to my interior designer." |
