Minissha tripped up north to attend a music concert

Minissha Lamba has just returned from a week-long trip to Ladakh. The actress had travelled up north with her brother Karan and friends. An adventure sports freak, Minissha indulged in river rafting in the icy cold waters of Leh and also interacted with monks at a monastery.


Most amazing time
Talking about the trip Minissha says, "It was the most amazing time I've had. We planned to attend the Confluence music concert in Leh that has some brilliant artists from all across the world. A couple of my friends flew down from Kashmir and that's how we decided to extend our stay in Ladakh and make it into a short trip. Since it was my first time to the place, I was really looking forward to it."

However, Minissha also has some icy cold memories of her stay. "The water in the river we went rafting, was zero degrees centigrade. We were all sitting in the boat smiling and laughing till a strong current splashed the water on our faces. It was so cold that it just shocked and numbed us for a while. In fact our guide was also quite hassled."

Humbling
Meeting the monks at the local monasteries was a humbling experience. She says, "It was touching to see how innocent and sweet they are. We had long conversations where they told us why they chose this path of life. I also spotted the healthiest happy looking dogs I have ever seen."

After returning, she's already planning her next trip. "I want to go there again. It's definitely heaven on earth!."
