 | The crew of Shahid Kapoor starrer Paathshala had a tough time shooting a one-minute scene recently, as the film's actors were a tad too frisky. No, they were not Shahid or his human co-stars, but rather a few puppies the crew had assembled for the shoot.
It was a simple one-minute scene where one schoolboy plays with a few pups while Shahid and other boys look on. But it took the crew a whole day to shoot. First, the crew members played with the puppies, got them used to their surroundings, but by the time they set up the shot, the puppies fell asleep. Once they woke up, the whole process of making them comfortable started again, but this time when the shot was set up, they just wandered away in different directions. The crew tried to bring them back into the frame, but the pups refused to obey. This happened repeatedly, stalling the shoot. Finally, the puppies tired of their explorations, much to the relief of the crew and director Milind Ukey. Ukey then canned the perfect shot.
