15 all-women cricket teams, including the Shree Vagad Kala Kendra, Bombay Rockers and Surat Visa Oswal participated in the function.

Talking about it, Prachi says, "It was a Women's Day special and turned out to be a fun affair! I'm not a cricket fan so I wasn't very excited but seeing the excitement and enthusiasm of all the women I promised them that I would participate with them the next time I come and play with them. I haven't played cricket since I was in school."

Prachi says the women forced her to speak a few lines in Gujarati. "I have to rehearse my Gujarati before talking and while doing so, I messed it up. I wished them Happy Women's Day in Gujarati -- Women's Day ni shubh kaamna. My grammar is really bad."

Prachi even gave a message for all women. "Though today we have educated workingwomen and everybody treats women equally but I do know women still treated the same as they were years ago in some parts of the country. I want them to be confident and strong and find that emotional and moral support within themselves. They should be so strong they shouldn't fear anything."
