In his previous release Rockstar, Ranbir Kapoor attained pin-up status as a rock musician in the country. However, the actor feels that the music of his upcoming film is even better than Imtiaz Ali’s musical project. Our sources say that Ranbir was constantly involved during the making of the music of his film with Anurag Basu.

The source says, “Ranbir sent a text message to Pritam, who has composed the music for the film, about how much he has liked his work. In fact, he also told Pritam that the music for this film is even better than Rockstar’s music by AR Rahman.” The actor apparently also sent SMSes to the other members of the music department, including the singers and the arrangers to complement them on their efforts.
