It could well turn out to be yet another feather in his cap. Word is that Anupam Kher along with the cast of his upcoming Hollywood film has been nominated for the Outstanding Performance award at the prestigious 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Award (SAG).

Kher, who has earlier acted in overseas films like Bend It Like Beckham, co-starred with Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook. The actor says, “As an actor, it is most gratifying to be recognised by one’s peers. Hence this nomination is a high point for me, professionally.” The thespian essays the character of a doctor who helps Cooper overcome his psychological problems.
