Challa has been sung by Rabbi Shergill and the Punjabi lyrics have been penned by Gulzar. The song was the first track from the film’s album to be officially released.

Our source points out, “Save Tonight was the opening track of Swedish musician Eagle-Eye Lanoo Cherry’s 1997 album Desireless. It is quite surprising to hear Rahman’s composition, as it sounds very similar. You cannot miss the similarity between the opening guitar pieces and the alternate rock feeling.”
