Bipasha Basu prefers sync sound rather than dub for a film. “The emotion in the voice when you do a scene is much more real than the voice recorded in a dubbing studio,” says Bips who is presently dubbing for Suparn Verma’s film.

The actress feels that in the case of thrillers it becomes tedious task for an actor to relive those same emotions and bring that same energy while dubbing.
“Crying, sobbing and saying dialogues or screams are very tough to recreate because of the kind of physical aggression it requires.”
