They say it’s never too late to explore one’s own country’s backyard. And Shahid Kapoor did just that while shooting for his film in Karnataka. The actor took off to do his own sightseeing in and around Mysore.

Sources say that Sasha was so enamoured with Ramgarh fort that he spent hours visiting the historic spot. “Many films too have been shot at the location including Sholay. It was four hours away from where Shahid was shooting. After he packed up, he decided to go on the trip with his crewmembers.” A source present at the scene says, “Shahid is really curious about finding out more about old Hindi films. That’s why he wanted to visit the site. It was a long journey but he didn’t seem to mind.”
