Govinda in 'Thuppakki' remake?
After much wait, Govinda has finally signed another film. The film is the remake of Tamil hit Thuppakki and he will be playing the role that was earlier played by South actor Jayaram.

Previously there was buzz that director A R Murugadoss wanted to sign Jayaram for the Hindi remake as well but later Govinda managed to make the final cut.
Producer Vipul Shah says, “Jayaram was never in the picture. Govinda was always our first choice. We would love to have him on board.”

Govinda refuses to confirm his presence in the film. All he says is, “This is not the right time to talk about the role.”
