If you wondered at all the comedy and chaos that goes on behind the curtains of a television reality show, this one’s for you! MTV has had its fair share of reality programmes in the form of MTV Roadies and MTV Splitsvilla. Apart from taking a healthy dig at their own products, here’s a show that holds a mirror to all the craziness that is part and parcel of a reality show.

MTV introduces its new TV series MTV Reality Stars that goes on air from today at 6.30 pm. According to the show’s makers, the programme will appeal to both reality show lovers and its haters.

Aditya Swamy, EVP and Business Head, MTV India, says, “MTV brought reality to India and today it’s everywhere. You can love it or hate it, but you can’t run away from it. The ability to laugh at ourselves has always made us more endearing to our audience. Unlike daily soaps, this is a finite series that is built around a tight script, a truly delightful cast and film level production standards.”

A 12 episode, 22-minute comedy show, Reality Stars is based on the lives of four crazy friends. Happy watching!
