Agreed, the onscreen Jodha-Akbar pair fought with archaic swords, but one look at their finesse in the armed combat and we could tell Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan have mastered the art beyond compare. So with apna desh lagging behind in this particular form of sport, Roshan Jr and the Bachchan bahu can give us a reason to talk home about both sport wise and glamour wise.

Gymnastics
This peach skinned beauty will be serious competition to her Russian and Chinese counterparts. Remember this Subhash Ghai find romancing a rope in Kisna or her swivelling around with onscreen lover Vivek Oberoi? With a body as flexible as a rubber band, Isha Sharvani is the ideal candidate for the acrobatic act. Given the poor start by Indian athletes in Beijing, perhaps Isha can spin some magic. Any takers?

Swimming
Never mind her Lazy Lamhe failed to seduce audience, but Amisha Patel's underwater act in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic makes her an ideal candidate for aquatics. With Ms Patel claiming she is a perfectionist, we do believe she must have mastered the art of swimming by now. Moreover, a newly acquired fit and toned body will only enhance the Gujju girl's chances at the event. Wot say, Amy?

Shooting
While biggies like Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Anjali Bhagwat crashed out, Abhinav Bindra held the fort all by himself. The young lad will surely find apt company in our very own Sambha. The Gabbar Singh sidekick played by yesteryear actor Mac Mohan perched on  top of the rocks with his long-standing rifle for company, is a sight worth remembering. In fact, it is his rifle and and numerous shots that one remembers the character for. Be rest assured that the Ramgarh dacoit will win a gold for us single-handedly with the rest of the world wondering... kitne aadmi the?

Archery
AB baby has recently turned Drona and though we haven't seen him in the mythological hero act yet, we bet the beta Bachchan won't quiver in the least while at his bow. With the way he's guided Cupid into striking an arrow right through one of Bollywood's most beautiful damsels, we bet this guy's great at the game. What say?    

Cycling
Taking a cue from India's best sports film (till Chak De! India happened), Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar is the perfect tale of the underdogs. With Mr Perfect Aamir Khan at the helm, there's no doubt we have a spot on the winners' podium. After all, Yahan Ke hum Sikandar!

Badminton
Our Jumping Jack Jeetendra wins this one hands down! Only he could have aced the art of romancing with a racquet. Remember him grooving with Leena Chandavarkar to the evergreen number Dhal Gaya Din, Ho Gayi shaam? With serves to put Prakash Padukone to shame, Jeetu ji's jeet is pakki!
