Mumbai: Residential prices fall
In the last one month, three properties at Bandra (W), were sold between Rs 13,000 and Rs 16,000 per sq ft, even though apartments in Bandra command anywhere between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 per sq ft.
Experts say, right from Lower Parel belt to Santacruz, rates are down by 15-20 per cent and the time has come when developers are going to part away with properties they were holding on to.
Experts also say that now is the right time to negotiate with the developers. Though they guess that the prices will again bounce back in the next four months.
