Who says men aren't vain? These days men care more about their looks than their female counterparts. So for all you men out there who don't have the time to sit in a saloon for hours to get in touch with their feminine side, you can give yourself a quick facelift at home. And it's easy too, read on to know how:
Honey facial
(for dry skin)
You'll need:
1 tsp honey
1 egg yoke
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp apricot scrubber
* Beat the egg yoke, add oil to it and blend it well
* Then add honey to it and mix it well
* Smear it all over your face with your fingers and massage for a while
* Now use a scrubber with your fingertips all over your face and massage well
* Leave it on for 15 min and wash with cold water
Cucumber facial
(for oily skin)
You'll need:
1 cucumber
1/2 orange
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp witch hazel (you can buy this in any drug store)
1 egg white, beaten until fluffy.
* Peel the cucumber and run it through a blender or a food processor
* Pour the cucumber pulp into a strainer and force it through in a bowl
* Combine the cucumber liquid with lemon juice and witch hazel. Stir it well and add the beaten egg white gently
* Put it on your face and massage well
* Scrub orange on your skin and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing off
After facial mask
* Peel and mash the banana. Add honey, egg yolk, wheat germ oil, oats and lemon juice to it.
* Mix all the ingredients together till a creamy paste is formed. (If the mask is too thick, add a touch of water to it)
* Add essential oils and stir well
* Apply the mask to clean skin on the face and neck. If the paste comes in contact with eyes or mouth, wash immediately.
* Leave the mixture on your face for at least ten minutes.
* Rinse your face with lukewarm water first and then cool water.
* Apply toner and a moisturiser. Never leave your skin dry after a facial.
