home sweet home: Seema Sabhlok with her sons, Varun and Sachin, pose for a picture in their living room |
Why Goregaon (W)
Well, I would say this place is fantastic. My children love this locality. The surroundings are great with plenty of hangout destinations. Our 3BHK flat is really spacious and airy. We stay on the 14th floor and the view from our window is just amazing. The best thing about this place is that it has maximum number of malls that too pretty close by from our place. The area has developed tremendously. The number of residential and commercial projects coming up in this area is just mind blowing. We have all the best facilities here.
What more would one want?
If not Goregaon, where else?
I don't think we can ever think of shifting from here. But if we have to, it'll either be Powai or Bandra. Both these areas are well developed. The only problem in my lane is the road that connects to our building Dheeraj Residency. Pot holes here are a big problem and during monsoons the case is even worse. But the peaceful and airy surroundings have left us with no regrets
Lessons learnt
* Make sure your documents are properly filed and ready
* Find out if the building has rain water harvesting facility. This is a must during monsoons
* Make sure all the legal formalities and paperwork are completed
* See to it that the builder hands over the NOC of the building
