Think before you splurge:
>>Please make sure you know whom you're really buying for
>>Don't pick up things at random. You don't want your gift to be treated as recycle material for next year
>>If you're buying clothes, try and check sizes first. Exchanging is a pain and often isn't possible during festivals
>>Fix a budget for different people. And don't feel guilty if it's not too much
>>Keep an eye on out good bargains
>>Don't gift based on what you're getting. That's being selfish!
>>Don't give out what you got from someone else last year. Your sins will come back to you!

Do you shop during the festive season?
Shopping during festivals is something we did long ago, as kids. Now, I just pick up things as I see and like them. One doesn't really have to wait for festivals to shop, isn't it?
Where do you shop often?
I prefer shopping in Mumbai because that city has way more stores and options. A lot of the bigger brands are there as well. Bangalore doesn't give me that many options.
What do you shop for most?
I have a fetish for shoes. Whenever I see a good pair, I pick it up. So my collection is growing!
What is the best gift you've ever given?
It was a beautiful dress from Zara, which I bought for my girl friend. And this was like two and half years ago and I still remember how that dress looked.
What is the best gift you ever received?
One of my friends had given me a jacket once. It was an original G-star jacket that he'd picked up in Germany.
One shopping tip you would want to give?
I think for those who like to shop for less can find some great deals when the sales are on. During that time, even the best brands are available at an affordable price. So you can shop without guilt!
