Director Donald Petrie

Story Andie (Hudson) is a columnist for a hot New York women's magazine. Her specialty is her how-to articles like "How to talk your way out of a parking ticket' etc.

Her dragon-lady editor, Lana (Neuwirth), has barked a particularly devilish assignment at her to show all the things that women do to sabotage new relationships.

Andie has to go out and find a guy, make him fall in love with her, and then proceed to drive him away with a series of maddening girly tactics.

This is where Ben (McConaughey), an ad filmmaker enters the scene

The movie is quite hilarious, especially when Andie (Kate Hudson) actually works on her plan to get rid of her boy friend. Some of the scenes are just too funny. I would say How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is like any other romantic comedy.

The performances are average, but I feel Mathew McConaughey is quite charming. I loved the gowns that Kate Hudson wore in the film.

Samina Jetha
Resident of Carter Road

The beginning of How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days is very impressive but the climax becomes too awkward. I am sure the audience expected a better ending.

Matthew McConaughey looks awesome throughout the movie. He has still managed to retain the same charm as he did in The Wedding Planner.

Saahil Khatri
Resident of Dr Ambedkar Road

You can actually call this movie a chick flick. The film has got all the ingredients to attract the college crowd. Though the whole concept sounds a little bold it has been presented quite well. Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey have given great performances.

Prakash Joshi
Resident of 11th Road, Khar

Kate Hudson looks great in her lovely dresses and hairdos. The movie as a whole has nothing great to offer. But the performances of the characters are quite good, especially Matthew McConaughey. The direction was mediocre and so were the dialogues.
