Bandra goes bazaar shopping for Christmas
By:

The pre-Christmas bazaar organised by St Anthonys Institute of Sporting Activities (SAISA) on Dec 11 was a homely affair. The busy bazaar had scores of stalls, all selling authentic homemade Christmassy stuff.

Says organiser Gita Dsouza, The bazaar was a platform for people to showcase and sell their homemade Christmas goodies like cakes, sweets, clothes, bags and decorations. Its expensive to rent out space in other exhibitions but our bazaar rents out stalls for only Rs 150 a day.

Besides the stalls, this two-day bazaar also organised musical performances, amusement rides for kids and a Santa.

This is the second year we are organising this bazaar. And though we werent completely satisfied with the turnout we will continue to hold it every year, adds Gita.

Over 1,000 people visited the bazaar, which had 38 stalls.
