The central railway suspended their services at 2200 hrs late this evening quoting technical snag even as thousands of commuters got stranded midway while travelling to their places of destinations. According to central railway public relations officer Mukul Marwa said that there is a signal problem at Masjid Bunder which was being rectified and the train services will be restored soon, he added. The sudden suspension of services left thousands of commuters puzzled as there were no announcements being made and inquiries with the officials were met with unsure responses. The services resumed by 11 pm |
