The hospital's Medical Director, Dr Dhananjay Kelkar, said that all the tests reports were normal. He said that the tests were of a routine nature
and added that the singer had neglected her health on account of a heavy work schedule and programmes through the year.
Dr Kelkar said that a team of doctors had found her fit for discharge. Lata will be proceeding to her Panhala farm house for fifteen days' rest, he added.
The doctor had special words of comfort for her innumerable fans in the country and abroad. ''There is no need for anxiety, she is all right and can return to her work soon. We have kept in her in the hospital to prevent her from interacting with anxious relatives. She is accustomed to answering around 150 phone calls in a day, which can be taxing'' he said.
Dr Kelkar said that 'didi' has had a long hectic schedule and that had taken a toll on her energies. Last month, she was present throughout the charity match in Mumbai played between India and Sri Lanka.
