Bangalore: For the first time in India, Tata Infotech has come out with a highly secure stamp paper printing kiosk, an initiative thought to give the Tata Group company rich dividends in view of the raging Telgi scam. Tata Infotech has already bagged a major order from State Bank of Mysore (SBM) to set up such kiosks in Karnataka, its Senior Vice-President J D Sharma, who heads the manufacturing division, told PTI here. The features of these self served kiosks are: automated printing of non-judicial stamp papers, dynamic calculation of applicable bank charges, payment through currency notes/coins/electronic credit and multiple papers/copies through single data entry, Sharma explained. "It's highly secure as no stamp paper is available in ready-to-use form and it excutes electronic validation of stamp stationery prior to dispensing", he said. Sharma said such kiosks are secure, multi-level, dynamic and conducts digital encryption for electronic authentication of printed stamp, adding, they are designed for subsequent revalidation of genuineness of issued stamp paper.
