 Pooja Batra Following in the footsteps of Madhuri Dixit, actress Pooja Batra will tie the knot with Sonu Ahluwalia, a US-based surgeon, next month.
The tall, svelte model-turned-actress, who was romantically linked to Akshay Kumar during his initial phase in Bollywood, is all set for an elaborate wedding ceremony that will take place in Delhi on February 9.
I am not planning to quit showbiz, because I will be shuttling between Mumbai and Manhattan where my husband-to-be is based.
Besides movies, I will also be acting in theatre plays, said an enthused Batra, who is currently shooting at Jodhpur for Akbar Khans costume drama Taj Mahal, in which she plays a scheming Noor Jehan.
Batra has played the lead in films like Virasat, Haseena Maan Jayegi, Talash and a few regional movies down south.
