Jammu: The army has rescued a boy from the clutches of Pakistani militants in Doda district, while two hideouts were busted and large quantity of arms and ammunition recovered in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today. Army troops launched an operation on specific information that Pakistani militants have forcibly abducted one Kashmiri boy in Kishtwar forest area last night, they said. During the operation, troops managed to rescue the boy Farooq Bhat of Kalotroam village in Doda, they said, adding he was handed over to his family. The troops also busted two hideouts in Surankote and Darhal areas of Poonch and Rajouri districts and recovered 321 pika gun rounds, 14 UBGL grenades, 40 detonators, three kgs of PETN explosives, 120 AK rifle rounds, two radio sets, four IEDs, one rocket besides ration and medicines last night, they added.
