New Delhi: Three inter-state criminals, allegedly involved in 45 murders and scores of other crimes, have been arrested from central Delhi, police said today. "Acting on a tip off, inter-state criminals Dipak Jat, Jayant and Sunder were arrested from Rajender Nagar locality last evening," Deputy Commissioner of Police (central district) Arvind Deep said. Describing the modus operandi of the criminals, Deep said they used to take lifts in cars, murder drivers and flee with vehicles which are being disposed off in Siliguri and Nepal. The three criminals were wanted in connection with more than 150 crimes in Delhi and its adjoining states, he said, adding one stolen car, several mobile phones, dozens of SIM cards and key rings were recovered from them. During interrogation, they revealed names of agents through whom they sold the cars and other operatives, Deep said, adding some more arrest would follow soon.
