Bangalore: Targetting college students, Pune-based two-wheeler major Kinetic today launched a new variant of its scooter "Zing Rockin'" taking on board Hindi film actress Karishma Kapoor for promoting the brand. The company's Joint Managing Director Sulajja Firodia Motwani told reporters here "Zing Rockin'" has a two-tone colour combination, an underseat mobile charging facility and holder, an FM radio and holder and a soft drink holder. It's priced at Rs 24,556 (ex-showroom). Motwani said 6000 units of "Zing Rockn'" have already been produced and the ramp-up depended on customer response. On selecting Karishma for promoting the brand, she said young customers can really relate to the "truly respected and accomplished actress". Karishma said she chose to endorse the brand as the scooter is "reaching out to students and youngsters at an affordable price".
