Central Railway would operate a mega block tomorrow on its suburban section to carry out maintenance work on the section. The maintenance work would be carried out between Chunabhatti and Masjid stations on the Up Harbour line and between Wadala and Mahim stations on the down Harbour line from 11.10 am to 3.50 pm, a release said here today. All Up Harbour line services between Pavel/Belapur and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Kurla from 10.43 am to 3.52 pm would run via the main line between Kurla and CST during the block period, it said. The Up and Down Harbour line services between Bandra/Andheri and CST will remain suspended during the block period. The Harbour line services from CST to Panvel/Belapur would run on the down Harbour line. The Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving CST from 10.55 am to 3.48 pm and Up Harbour line services leaving Andheri/Bandra towards CST from 10.23 am to 3.56 pm will remain suspended. Harbour line passengers for Bandra/Andheri are allowed to travel via main line and Western Railway during the block period on June 19. The block will also be operated on Down fast line between Thane and Kalyan stations from 10 am to 3 pm. Up fast line between Kalyan and Thane stations from 2 pm to 3 pm and also in Up and Down line between Kalyan and Ambernath stations from 2 pm to 2.40 pm.
