Ruby Gonsalves, a former bar dancer who is now a prostitute will spend Valentines Day with a regular customer at a discotheque in a western suburb and will later accompany him to a hotel room. 
She said, Not all bar dancers are as rich as Tarannum. We have to do sleazy private performances and even compromise on our ideals to fill our stomachs.

Meanwhile, 27 dance bars who are part of an orchestra have planned surprise celebrations for their regular customers.
Dancer Sara Sheikh said, We have decorated our bar in south Mumbai with red roses for the Valentine look. We have also been told to escort every customer and hand him a rose. The singers will be performing on romantic Hindi, Punjabi and English tracks.
Suresh Pandey and Shuseel Singh, bar managers, added that these were promotional tactics to bring in customers who had stopped visiting the bars after the ban. We have special discounts for those who come in on February 13 and 14. Our waitresses will wear party outfits, said Pandey.
