Though the illegal Sara Sahara complex, allegedly owned by Dawood Ibrahim, was to be razed to the ground today, it was the adjacent Munim compound that was demolished.
Mumin compound was an extension of Sara Sahara. Though both Sara-Sahara and Mumin compounds are different structures, over the years they began to be considered as one.
Though one cannot say that the whole Sara-Sahara complex was demolished, it can be said that a considerable chunk of the complex was razed, said Additional Municipal Commissioner Shrikant Singh.
