Channels Sudden death for Central Railway By: A Mid Day Correspondent November 14, 2006 Union Bank of India (UBI) won the final of the 2nd Poinsur Gymkhana Football Tournament by beating Central Railway 5-4 via sudden death after a goalless full time and 3-3 at the tie-breaker.
Suresh Mendon, Ryan DSouza, Michael DSilva, Chetan Waghela and Muzaffar Ansari scored for the winners while Asif Ansari, Vijay Thapa and Avinash Puthran were off target.
For CR, Kasif Jamal, Prabhash Janardhan, Siddharth Kamath and Succor Velho found the net while Douzy Gudinho, Hamid Ansari, Agnelo Fernandes and Raghuvir Khanolkar missed.
