Former India cricket captain Dilip Vengsarkar was appointed chairman of the Senior Selection Committee today, replacing Kiran More who has completed his four-year term. Former left-arm spinner Venkatpathy Raju (South) was the other new entrant in the five-member selection panel. Bhupinder Singh Senior (North), Ranjib Biswal (East) and Sanjay Jagdale (Central) retained their posts after the Cricket Board's 77th Annual General Meeting here. BCCI treasurer N Srinivasan told reporters that the BCCI had not accepted the members' participating agreement sent by the ICC to all its members for the period 2007 to 2015. "We have reservations about certain clauses pertaining to players' endorsements and marketing. We have formed a committee to go into these and suggest minimum acceptable parameters."
