Think Gopinath Munde is a fearsome tiger? Meet his wife Pradnya
 TWO OF A KIND: Gopinath Munde and his wife Pradnya, the prime witnesses in the Pramod Mahajan murder case, arrive at the sessions court on Tuesday Pramod Mahajans sister and BJP leader Gopinath Mundes wife, Pradnya, is one tough woman.
It has always been assumed that Munde was the fiery one, but Pradnyas deposition yesterday revealed a different story.
The Mundes, who are prime witnesses in the Pramod Mahajan murder case, recorded their statements before additional sessions Judge Shrihari Davare.
In her deposition, Pradnya said, Pramods widow Rekha had told me that Pravin had opened fire at him.
At that very moment, defence lawyer Harshad Ponda requested the court to record her statement in a question-and-answer format. His interruption made Pradnya furious.
Kay mhanalet te? (What did he say?) You must remember that I am their (Pramod and Pravins) sister.
I wont lie. My statement should be given importance in the case. State prosecution Ujjwal Nikam helped her calm down and said it was a matter of strategy between him and Ponda and she need not worry.
On Tuesday, Munde seemed to be nervous when Ponda asked him why he did not tell the police that Pravin had sent Pramod a threatening SMS.
Munde said, I was about to tell the police about the SMS, but doctors treating Pramod told me that his condition was critical. So I left the police station.
He uttered the words so softly that Nikam couldnt hear. He shouted at Munde and asked him to speak loudly so that he could be heard.
