A middle-aged builder allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself at his residence in at Mahim this morning, the police said.
Rizwan Lakdawala shot himself with a licenced revolver in his apartment at Mahim while his father was present there, Additional Commissioner of Police (Central Region) Rajneesh Seth said.
"Rizwan had bolted the door from inside and we had to break it open," the ACP said, adding that the exact reason behind Lakdawala's extreme step is yet to be ascertained. |
