In a shocking revelation we have gathered that Maanayata is no criminal psychologist but a C-grade actress, who is known as Sara Khan among her friends.
Sources say that she has had three failed marriages.
Hailing from Dubai, she moved to Mumbai five years ago. After doing an item number in Prakash Jhas Gangaajal she settled for C-grade films.
Says producer Gurminder Ghotra, I didnt even know her name is Maanayata till it was reported in the papers. Sara had come to me three years back with her photographs, looking for work. She was very impatient. She wanted instant fame jaldi hi galat line pe gayi.
Ghotra added, Shes a compulsive liar with a reputation of blackmailing men.

If sources are to be believed Maanayata has been married thrice. Her first marriage was to Mairaj Rehman in 2002, which ended within a year. She then married Mohammad Ali, who owns a clothes shop at Lokhandwala. When things soured between them, she moved out. Then, on her parents insistence, she married Naved, a distant cousin. She walked out off this marriage after a few months.
However, Maanayata says she was married and divorced only once. Its news to me that I was married thrice. My former boyfriends are not my husbands, adding, Sanju knows everything about me. Another source close to Maanayata said she has no degree in criminal psychology.
When asked about it, Maanayata said, Im not a practising criminal psychologist, but that does not mean I havent got my degree in the same. Maanayata also said she received a threatening call yesterday from a lady who called herself Meghna. She said that if I dont walk out of Sanjus life, shell get goons to throw acid on me.
