 Aishwarya RaiKhan-Rai still a hit

THOUGH the much-hyped Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan romance and the impending wedding bells are the talk of the country, the autorickshaw-wallahs in Baroda still seem to swear by the chemistry that the former Miss World shared with her ex-beau Salman Khan.

Every second autorickshaw in the city seems to house a poster of Salman on one side of the door, with Rais on the other. Bollywood has marched ahead, but in Baroda, the hangover of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam surely remains.

MoreLeave More alone!

TALKING of hangovers, its high time journalists come to terms with the exit of Kiran More as the chief of selectors.

The joint secretary of the Baroda Cricket Association came down to the IPCL Stadium yesterday to check if last minute preparations were going according to schedule. No sooner did he arrive, journalists desperate for sound bytes from the former India stumper mobbed him.

A variety of queries ensued ranging from team selection to the fitness issues of players. For his part, the former selector, who has been anchoring a cricket show on a news channel, patiently answered all the questions with a small shrug. Such are the Times, Now, we guess.
